My name is Claudia Espinoza. I am currently a 2nd grade teacher at Sanchez Elementary School. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Riverside. I double majored in Art History and Latin American Studies. After graduating from UCR, I took a year off from school to see if teaching was really what I wanted to do. So, I became a substitute teacher. I discovered, I enjoy working with children to help them learn and achieve their potential. A year and half later, I went back to school to get my masters and my teaching credential. I received my Master’s degree in Education from Claremont Graduate University, and I have a multiple subject credential with an emphasis in art.
I have been working as a teacher for twenty-five years in the Garvey School District. I worked as a fourth grade teacher for twelve years. I've worked as a second grade teacher for thirteen years.
